Long before the term sustainability became an expression of modern environmental awareness, this was for us a matter of course that belonged within our integrated concept.
With our machinery we use the best available technology to enhance our energy efficiency, which, together with the optimisation of component cutting in both wood and metal avoids waste and saves resources our suppliers of raw materials are predominately in our region, reducing transport, saving energy and unnecessary co2 emissions. When purchasing materials we are always looking to buy material that is harmless to health and environmentally friendly. Febrü products are certified with the ‘Blue Angel’. Our packaging is from paper tailored to the requirements of individual components and reused several times. No usable packing material goes into the recycling loop. The quantity of carbon dioxide saved by our reuse and recycling programmes is calculated on an annual basis and certified by ‘Interseroh’.
