Production
Febrü-Office Furniture is produced component by component at our factory in Herford. We organise, produce and develop our products here. In the prototype department ideas become samples, creativity is converted into products. This is made possible by our extensive in-house production depth and flexibility. For Febrü working with metal is as familiar as the handling of wood.
The development for all ranges is also done at Herford, through our construction, prototype and production departments. Dimensions and selection of materials are defined and tested using our own rigs. There is constant discussion to examine operational use and compatibility. The path to production has many obstacles. Febrü workmanship and quality is setting the standard for others to follow.
In the first half of 2012 edge processing of particle board components was changed to laserTEC. Soft and round, perfect of highest quality – this is Febrü’s new high-grade edging. A jointless passage between edge and top replaces glued joints known in the past. The invisible joint is not only a visual quality feature – this technology is energy-efficient and ecologically worthwhile as well. Febrü stands in the forefront using laserTEC – a sophisticated lead that you can see and feel.
